The day of hospitalization costs 300 lei and includes anesthesia, surgery, medication and nutrition before and after surgery. Prices apply to insured persons. Accommodation is in living rooms with 1-2 beds, air conditioning, cable TV, internet.

What is a cholecystectomy?

Cholecystectomy is the surgery to remove the gallbladder. The gallbladder is a sac-shaped organ located in the liver and has the role of storing the bile. In certain pathological situations, the gallbladder may become inflamed and / or intracholecystic stones may appear, which leads to the need to remove it. Symptoms may include various aspects, the most common being colic pain, suddenly installed after a rich lunch, on the right side of the abdomen (below the ribs) with irradiation in the right shoulder, nausea, bilious vomiting (green vomiting, bitterness), headache , fever, chills. Cholecystectomy can be performed by classical (open) and laparoscopic (laser) approach.

How do we prepare for cholecystectomy?

Pregatirile operatorii se fac in colaborare cu medicul curant si trebuie sa tina cont patologia asociata a pacientului (bolile pacientului) si momentul operator.

What is the hospitalization period?
